Aims

To develop the knowledge and skills to promote and provide effective, safe, evidence-based care
To facilitate the development of effective diagnostic and decision-making skills to aid the assessment and delivery of nursing care for individuals across the lifespan, experiencing a spectrum of physical and mental health care needs
To prepare autonomous, accountable, graduate nurses who practice within professional codes and ethico-legal frameworks to provide safe and effective nursing care underpinned by professional attitudes that value the human rights and dignity of service users
To prepare future nurse leaders, who have the ability to work in partnership with other health and social care professionals to promote and contribute to evidence-based practice and innovation.

Learning Outcomes
