Aims
- To introduce the knowledge and skills to promote and provide effective, safe, evidence-based care
- To introduce the development of effective diagnostic and decision-making skills to aid the assessment and delivery of nursing care for individuals across the lifespan, experiencing a spectrum of physical and mental health care needs
- To prepare autonomous, accountable, graduate nurses who practice within professional codes and ethico-legal frameworks to provide safe and effective nursing care underpinned by professional attitudes that value the human rights and dignity of service users.
