Aims

To introduce the role of the nurse in meeting the needs of patients and clients across the lifespan in a range of healthcare settings.
To introduce the concept of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based care interventions for unwell patients across the life-span.
To promote partnership working with patients and carers.
